I'm Andrea, I don't have a major picked yet, although I will probably pick criminology or music, those are just 2 interests of mine. I am at LBCC because I want to learn more about those interests. My immediate career goal is to get a job above min wage. I am a mother of 3 so whatever my career ends up being will likely have to wait a little while.

I'd love to know why the media is everywhere now, I remember the days when it was the local news and the news paper. And tbh I kinda miss it being that way.

As I stated, I like music, I found out back in high-school that I was very musically inclined and started writing music, performing and recomposing at a young age.

3 sources of info as far as what I see is Facebook, Youtube and the local news. I don't have twitter, or instagram or any of those other social media accts. I wouldn't consider any of these except local news to be my "go-to" source for info purely because on the internet things change frequently so the hard evidence presented in local news seems more trustworthy. I personally think the "news" presented on social media sites is partly formed to cause worry and chaos, which none of us need any more of, but I think its a muse to get us to be concerned about things that we either cannot change or that have nothing much to do with us or that applies to everyday life.

With a lot of the "info" I see on FB I take with a grain of salt and think somewhat sarcastically about it. There's been many times where I've rolled my eyes and given myself a headache or where I've commented about how theres many more important things in life to focus on, a good example is the first ladys wardrobe choice recently and how it sparked just tons of nonsense, I couldn't care less what she wears personally. I don't think I pass along info unless it pertains to Oregon, or really even the part of the state I live in at that. That said, sometimes I check info out as a 'precaution' other times it's already something I know or have heard of so I won't take any precaution if I were to pass it on.

I'm pretty laid back and like when life goes smoothly so when I see something that comes off as "bumpy" I usually keep my mouth shut and keep moving along with my life.
